As long as I can remember I have been captivated by birth. Growing up in a large family of mostly of women, supporting my aunts and cousins as they embarked on one of life’s most beautiful journeys! I acted as a doula before I ever knew what a doula was! It wasn’t until my older sister's pregnancy that I truly realized the importance of a doula. Witnessing firsthand how impactful the birth experience is on the mother’s life and how much of an influence the caretakers have in a birth experience, truly spoke to me.
After promising my sister that I would support any way possible, I became her Doula and will never have a more proud moment than supporting the home birth of my oldest nephew in 2013 and his younger brother in 2015, which led to finally becoming a certifying Doula in 2019. I happily dedicate myself to supporting and educating mothers and mothers to be through A Motherly Embrace Doula Services as a Birth doula. My mission is to provide women with guidance support and empowerment.

Hi there! I am a DONA trained Birth Doula with a passion and dedication to educating and empowering laboring women and their families. In addition to supporting the pregnancy and laboring process, I’ve worked in the aviation industry as a Flight Attendant for 14 years. I am a wife and a mother of four beautiful children from 21 to 5 years old; 2 girls and 2 boys. Becoming a DONA trained Doula has been an exciting journey for me as I’ve been drawn to catering to mommies and babies for as long as I can remember. I look forward to serving you during your most vulnerable moments and reminding you of your strength along the way.
Rose Golden Doula
I am a mom of 2. In both of my births, I experienced the trauma, lack of education and empowerment during my pregnancies and postpartum. My experiences have inspired my journey as a Birth Worker for every part of the journey of birthing people and their families. I completed my Birth Doula Training with Nikia Lawson of DONA International on July 26-28, 2020 currently working towards certification. My goal is to help anyone experiencing hardships due to high-risk pregnancy, unemployment, fear of COVID, teen moms, racism, discrimination, etc.
I have completed trainings that ranges from Homebirth Support to Systemic Racism and Implicit Bias. I'm working towards becoming a Bereavement/PAIL Advocate, a Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga Instructor, and Photographer to expand services in different aspects. I have experience in Breastfeeding, Postpartum Depression & Anxiety through my journey and, Activism through my work as a Labor Union Organizer with Unite Here Local 23 from 2017-2019. From 2009-2013, I volunteered as a Crisis Counselor for Crisis Intervention of Houston. I am an artist as well and can offer custom portraits, pregnancy belly art, and nursery decor. I also have a passion for music, sewing & prepping organic baby food for infants and toddlers. I look forward to offering you love and support.
Hey friends! My name is Melina. I am a daughter, a mother, a wife, a friend & hopefully, your future birth worker. I was born and raised in NYC, then military moved our family to California, where I started my practice, and now reside in Katy, TX with my husband, daughter & 2 dogs. I’ve had the pleasure of working with families for a few years now and it’s been an honor and such a fulfillment of my purpose. I became a birth worker because I knew in my heart that more people needed to learn the truth about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum and all it comes with. Everyone deserves to have a safe, healthy, informed experience. That was what I saw the media lacked and even real life...the information, education & application of this experience for all parties involved.
I am Latina and love to bring my cultural teachings to my practice. I love building relationships and trust with birthing families to prepare and empower them to have the birth they deserve. Blessings!

Despite having only worked in the childbirth field for the past two years, I know without a doubt that BIRTH MATTERS. How a woman feels about her pregnancy, motherhood and birth all matter! Ask any mother about the day her child was born and she will tell you the story; who was there, where it happened, what she experienced and HOW SHE FELT. It is this realization that fuels my passion as a Childbirth educator. I’ve had two amazing birth experiences and I owe them to having been educated and informed, as well as having amazing support from my husband and birth teams. Birth is a rite of passage into motherhood. My hope is to give women (and dads too) the tools needed to prepare for birth with confidence and joy.
As a member of Maternity Journey, my mission is to empower women to find their inner Queen and re-create themselves through their own personal journey. I am also President and founder of the Non-Profit Organization “Bei Diamanti”, which was started to give back and a way to reach more women in different spaces.
I believe by uplifting one woman, you essentially build that into two. Two women working together and utilizing each other’s strength will gain more ground. This world relies on women to nurture and produce seed. So, therefore, my goal is to help women water their seed until it produces that fruit I was drawn to Maternity Journey because of its inclusiveness, family values, and empowering women from all over to be the best version of themselves. I am looking forward o assisting your journey!

I see every pregnancy and birth as a miracle that has always been surrounded with support! I consider myself, a woman who serves & supports! So to serve as a doula has absolutely been a purpose I've pursued with passion! Through understanding the current narrative within my community, I have found that support and education are the most important aspects that heavily influence birth & postpartum experiences! So I have been driven to provide the support and resources that women deserve to help improve the narrative within my community!
I believe every woman deserves support that will guide and assist her in making conscious decisions about her body & baby throughout Maternity. I believe she should have beautiful reminders to trust the strength of her being throughout every milestone in her Journey! I believe every woman deserves a safe space & support person to experience it all with! As a collective we have a mission to offer that support through birth and beyond to help shape lives and improve narratives in our community one journey at a time!
